The Group seeks to respond constructively to any legitimate grievance brought to its attention.

Where individuals, groups of individuals or organisations external to the Group have a grievance against the Group, they may put this to an estate manager, who is the most accessible to them. Grievances are reported routinely in monthly meetings between estate managers and the Group’s regional head of operations. If appropriate, grievances can be escalated to the senior management team in Jakarta and, ultimately, to the corporate head office in the UK.

Employees of the Group can raise any concerns of grievance with their manager, directly with the human resources department in Jakarta or through the Group’s whistleblowing hotline.
